Friends and Family Concert
Wednesday at 7 PM in the East View Cafeteria we will hold our Friends and Family performance. The concert should be finished by 8:00 PM. Students will be dismissed after clean up is complete.
Not Performing-Meet the Patriots
Due to the additional rehearsal and performance time required for convocation participation, we will not perform, as currently scheduled; at “Meet the Patriots”. Have a wonderful family weekend!

7:00 AM-Convocation Rehearsal on site at the Klett PAC
8:30 AM-Performance 1
10:30 AM-Performance 2
11:00-Dismissal and nap time
If you are still interested in ordering photos, additional order forms are available in the band hall and digitally upon request from Mr. Daffinee. The photographers informed us that our students were the most organized, calm, and polite kids that they have had the privilege of working with this year. Great job students!
Form Completion and Submission
As we prepare for the school year, certain documents need to be completed and turned in to allow participation. These forms are attached. Please complete and return with your child during our rehearsal on Monday or Tuesday evening. We will also have blank copies available at our Friends and Family performance Wednesday.
- During the school year as part of our marching uniforms students will be asked to purchase compression shorts on their own to wear underneath their uniforms.
- The EVPB will not wear its standard marching uniform for the first two football games. To account for the heat, we will wear our show shirt (which will be distributed upon arrival), appropriate length khaki shorts*, a belt, sneakers and white socks. Double check that your student has the necessary materials.
*Khaki short length must be in compliance with EVHS dress code standards.
We will only be as good as our musical contribution allows. Memorize your music. Pass Offs will continue next week. Recognition will be given to all students who pass off the following music by the parent concert on Wednesday, August 20th:
Make sure you remain current on your fees. The beginning of the year is expensive for our program. Between uniforms, equipment, busses, trucks, food, instructors, contest fees, etc., the bills add up for active programs. Please continue to remit payments. Please contact Mr. Daffinee with any concerns or updates regarding program fees.
The Charms calendar has been updated to reflect our need for volunteers at band and concession events. If you are available please sign up.
