Band Banquet

This year’s band banquet theme is Medieval Knights: A Night to Remember. The Boosters invite all students, family members, and friends to come and celebrate the accomplishments of the East View Patriot Band!

Who:       All Patriot Band members, their family members, and dates are invited.

What:     The end of year banquet is a time to celebrate the achievements of the Patriot Band. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend. Don’t let your band student tell you that you’re not invited! The first half of the banquet is a catered meal, slideshows, and awards presentations. The second half of the banquet will be activities for the students, so family members can choose to call it a night, or stick around and visit with other parents.

This year, there will be a Tournament of Games directly following the banquet portion of the evening. Students, your Boosters have gone all out to provide y’all some medieval-themed activities. We really hope that each and every student will stay to participate in the fun! Parents, we also hope you will stick around to watch the kids having fun.

When:     Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Where:    East View High School Cafeteria

Attire:     Cosplay (wearing costumes) is highly encouraged. If you choose not to cosplay, the evening’s apparel should be semi-formal or Sunday’s best. All costumes and outfits should comply with GISD dress code.

The Dinner Menu:

  • Spring Mix with Dressing
  • Assorted Dinner Rolls
  • Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Assorted Sauces
  • Quartered Chicken
  • Corn on the Cob
  • Chef’s Sauteed Garden Medley
  • Minestrone Soup

Vegetarian option will be available. Please indicate that you would like a vegetarian option on your order form.

Ticket Information:

  • Tickets paid by cash or check will be $15.00. Students will be given invitations the first week of April with an order form enclosed. If your child never brought home the order form, you can download a form by CLICKING HERE. Ticket order forms should be turned into the red booster box outside Mr. Torres’ office with payment enclosed/attached.
  • STUDENTS – PLEASE TURN IN YOUR ORDERS FORMS INSIDE THE RED BOOSTER LOCK BOX. Do not place on top of the red box, on a director’s desk, a random table, or anywhere other than inside the lock box. We cannot guarantee that you will have tickets if Mrs. Swope can’t find your order. Thank you!
  • Tickets ordered online will be $16.00.
  • Senior band members will be given one complimentary ticket for their attendance. All family members and friends will need to order tickets.
  • The deadline to order tickets is FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 2018.
